Scenarios for Meeting Rooms

Two EagleEye Director II cameras are suggested as a best practice if you want better coverage in a large conference room or classroom. Determining which camera placement scenario to use for cascading depends upon your video conferencing needs.

Refer to the following diagrams to determine which placement of the cascaded cameras works best for your environment.

Note: Cameras in all of the following scenarios should be mounted on a wall for the best user experience.

Scenario 1: One camera is positioned on the left or right side of the room, and the other camera is positioned at the front of the room. This configuration works well in conference rooms with a whiteboard on a side wall.

Scenario 2: One camera is positioned at the front of the room and the other is positioned at the back of the room. This configuration works well in classrooms or large seminars.
