Unable to Send Email Notifications

If users can't send email notifications, verify that the SMTP server settings are properly configured.

Solution:

  • Verify that the correct SMTP server is configured with the correct port numbers.
  • If a secure connection is required, verify that the service account user credentials are correct.
  • If the SMTP server is configured to reject messages from senders who are not authenticated users, verify that the sender mail ID is white-listed.
  • If the problem persists, consult your Polycom IT administrator to confirm that the values are correct.
