Video Calls on VVX business media phones

You can receive and transmit video during calls on supported VVX phones with cameras, if enabled by your system administrator.

You can place video calls on the following VVX phones:
  • VVX 500 and 600 phones with a connected VVX Camera
  • VVX 501 and 601 phones with a connected EagleEye Mini USB camera
  • VVX 1500 phones with a built-in camera

The VVX Camera and EagleEye Mini are optional USB accessories that attach to the USB port on the VVX 500/501 and 600/601 phones. While the VVX Camera is supported on VVX 500, 501, 600, and 601 phones, the EagleEye Mini is only supported on VVX 501 and 601 phones. See the Setup Sheet for your USB camera for information on how to attach the camera to your phone.

If you do not have a VVX Camera or EagleEye Mini USB camera attached to your VVX 500,501, 600, or 601 phone when you receive video during calls, you can see your contact's video, but your contact cannot see video from you.

Note: Some of the features described in this section require access to the Basic settings menu. If your phone requires a password to access the Basic settings menu, contact your system administrator for assistance.
